1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage and session storage, keep small pieces of information on your device in the same way. This policy covers all of them.
2. Why FinX OS uses them
FinX OS uses these technologies only to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and make the app work. We do not use them for advertising.
3. What we store

Essential. Authentication and session storage needed for sign-in and core features.
Preferences. Language, appearance and display settings. Your business currency is saved to your account, not to your browser.
4. Analytics and advertising
FinX OS does not currently use analytics cookies or advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy first.
5. Third-party cookies
If you choose Google sign-in, Google may set its own cookies during sign-in on Google's pages. The YouTube video in the product tour uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and only loads when you reach that step; YouTube may store information in your browser if you play it.
6. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing site data signs you out and resets preferences stored in the browser. Preferences saved to your account return when you sign in again.
7. If essential storage is disabled
If your browser blocks essential storage, FinX OS cannot keep you signed in and most of the app will not work. Public pages such as this one remain available.
