Privacy Policy

FinX OS is a financial operating system for startups, small businesses, freelancers and student founders. In this policy, "FinX OS", "we" and "us" refer to the operator of the FinX OS service.

FinX OS is operated by Rohin Wadhwa. FinX OS is not a registered company. Public contact address: Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Account information. Your email address, an optional display name and an optional profile picture you upload.

Authentication information. If you sign up with email, a password that is stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

Business and financial data. Business details you enter (name, type, currency, financial year start, starting cash balance) and the transactions you add manually or import from CSV files, including dates, descriptions, amounts, categories and notes.

AI Analyzer conversations. If your plan includes the AI Analyzer, the questions you ask and the answers you receive are saved to your account so you can return to them.

Preferences. Settings such as language, appearance, date and number format and dashboard layout.

Legal acceptance. The version of this policy and the Cookie Policy you accepted, and when.

Usage information. Standard technical logs created by our hosting and backend providers when you use the service, such as request times and error records. FinX OS does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To calculate and display your financial overview, P&L, cash flow, forecasts, analytics and reports.
• To answer AI Analyzer questions using a summary of your own recorded figures.
• To manage your plan and, once online payments are active, process subscriptions.
• To respond to support requests you send us.
• To keep the service working and investigate errors or misuse.

Figures in FinX OS are calculated from the transactions you provide. We do not sell your financial data and do not use it for advertising.

When you use the AI Analyzer, a summary of the selected business's figures and your question are sent to an AI model provider to generate an answer. AI answers are interpretations, not professional financial, tax or investment advice.

Interface text may be sent to an AI translation service to display FinX OS in your chosen language. Your financial records are not included in translation requests.

Your data is stored in a managed cloud database. Access rules in the database restrict each account to its own businesses, transactions, chats and preferences. Profile pictures are kept in private storage and shown through short-lived links.

Connections to FinX OS use HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

FinX OS relies on service providers to operate. These include our cloud hosting and database provider, our authentication provider, an AI model provider for the AI Analyzer and interface translation, and Google, if you choose Google sign-in.

Payments. When online payments are enabled, subscriptions will be processed by Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are entered with Razorpay and are not stored by FinX OS. We keep payment references, amounts and subscription status to manage your plan.

The product tour can show an embedded YouTube video. YouTube only loads when the video step opens.

• View and update your profile and business details in Settings.
• Export all your transactions as CSV from Settings or Reports.
• Delete individual transactions at any time.
• Delete your account from Settings, Account.
• Contact us to ask what information we hold about you or to request a correction.

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, your profile, businesses, transactions, AI chats, preferences, plan record and profile pictures are deleted.

Payment records may need to be kept for longer where the law requires it. The configured backup retention period has not yet been verified: [TO BE CONFIRMED: backup retention period]. We do not currently state a verified deletion timeframe for backup copies or system logs.

You can permanently delete your account from Settings, Account, Delete account. If you have a paid plan that renews automatically, cancel renewal first. Deletion cannot be undone.
